Fees for Services

During these first two (2) sessions Dr. Freerksen will go over your intake paperwork, concerns, and personal history. Typically a treatment protocol can be outlined at the end of the second intake session. When you book a New Patient Evaluation you will be given a link to our secure patient portal, which will contain questionnaires for you to fill out prior to the session.

Teen patients are required to have two (2) evaluation visits with Dr. Freerksen, both of which will involve their legal guardian/adult. First session is $650 and second follow- up session is $425. One session typically will focus on the child, and the other will focus on the parents. Dr. Freerksen treats adolescents 13 – 17 years of age and older.

After your initial intake sessions, you will have the option of follow-up sessions with Dr. Freerksen. This follow-up session will consist of any medication management and psychotherapy needed according to your treatment plan. The extended session is approximately 50 minutes.

We are proud to offer personalized medication treatment through genomic testing. As part of the evaluation, Dr. Freerksen can order your genome to be mapped from a cheek swab that you provide to Genesight. The Genesight report analyzes genes related to the metabolism of certain medications. Variations in these genes can affect how your body reacts to certain medications. This information helps you and Dr. Freerksen more finely tune your medication dosages, and know how your body may have atypical reactions to certain medications.

Ultimately, Genesight testing seeks to provide safer and more effective medication treatment tailored to you. Payment is made directly to Genesight, Medicare and Medi-Cal usually pay for testing in its entirety. Dr. Freerksen does not charge extra fees beyond discussing results with you.

To identify diagnostic clarity, identify executive function challenges; often necessary to give accommodations for ADHD and Asperger’s Syndrome.

Dr. Freerksen offers Group Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Training. One individual evaluation session is required prior to the group experience to establish goodness of fit with the rest of the group members.

This first ketamine therapy session consists of induction and administration of sublingual or intramuscular injection of ketamine, in conjunction with integration psychotherapy. An evaluation by Dr. Freerksen for medical clearance of the client is required prior to administration. Learn more about KAP.


Payment plans are available. Follow-up integration sessions are billed at Dr. Freerksen’s normal hourly rate.

After the first induction session, integration therapy for KAP at-home journeys will be needed. Typically these sessions will be mostly psychotherapy for the client to help gain insights into their ketamine experience, as well as any medication management needed. An evaluation by Dr. Freerksen for medical clearance of the client is required prior to ketamine therapy. Learn more about KAP.

Low dose ketamine assists in EMDR memory reprocessing. EMDR can be done virtually or in office with low dose ketamine assisting in excelerated resolution of the disturbing memory.

After your initial intake session, you will have the option of follow-up sessions with Counselor Ellen Smith. This follow-up session will consist of psychotherapy needed according to your collaborative treatment plan. The follow-up session is approximately 50 minutes.

After the first induction session, integration therapy for KAP at-home journeys will be needed. Typically these sessions will be mostly psychotherapy for the client to help gain insights into their ketamine experience. An evaluation by Dr. Freerksen for medical clearance of the client is required prior to ketamine therapy. After the initial induction session, follow-up integration sessions can be with either Ellen Smith or Dr. Freerksen.
